Overview
Vince Daly is Director of Research in Economics and was previously Head of the School of Economics (from 1988 until 2009). Prior to joining Kingston he held research and teaching appointments at the University of Birmingham and Aston University. Vince's main subject expertise is in applied econometrics, with a particular interest in forecasting methods. His teaching and research are currently concentrated in this area and he has also employed this expertise in consultancy projects, including econometric modelling projects, statistical analysis for a Royal Economics Society report on "The current state of the British economics profession", and an econometrics training course for a major central bank. Vince is currently a member of the steering group for the Conference of Heads of University Departments of Economics. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Economics Issues.

Areas of expertise
