Overview

A fashion designer by training, course director for Kingston University's Fashion MA course Nancy Tilbury describes herself as a liberated thinker, who will work with any other discipline to innovate in her area of expertise. Nancy describes herself as an expert in fashion design futures, with specialist skills and interests in wearable and soft technologies.

Nancy graduated from the Royal College of Art in 1997 with an MA in Fashion Womenswear, since when she has worked in collaboration with a range of clients and collaborators, including EMI Music, ITV, In-Cosmetics, Philips Design, Nike, Goose-Design UK and Levi's Europe. She has been awarded a number of patents for her designs and is an external examiner for the BA Fashion course at Birmingham University.
