Subject-specific activities in business and law

If you have Year 12 pupils who have expressed an interest in studying business or law at university, we are offering the following summer sessions:

Law at Kingston

  • Year group: Year 12
  • Date and time: Monday 14 July, 10.00am–3.00pm

At this session, pupils will:

  • learn about mooting in our dedicated mooting chamber;
  • experience a law lecture and take part in an interactive workshop;
  • meet current law students;
  • find out about law career progression and employability, including industry links with companies including Norton Rose, Atherton Bailey and KPMG;
  • learn how to write a good law personal statement; and
  • find out about other opportunities including Erasmus study in Europe and the Kingston Language Scheme.

Business at Kingston

  • Year group: Year 12
  • Date and time: Monday 14 July, 10.00am–3.00pm

At this session, pupils will:

  • find out how to choose the right business degree;
  • get an introduction to business & management and accounting & finance;
  • meet current business students;
  • find out about business placement opportunities and how the new Diploma in Professional Practice can help impress prospective employers;
  • learn how to write a good personal statement for business/accounting/management/business information technology courses; and
  • find out about other opportunities including Erasmus study in Europe and the Kingston Language Scheme.

Please note: if you have pupils that are interested in business and pupils that are interested in law, you will need to complete the booking form twice (eg once for each subject).
