Your Future conference
This event has now taken place for 2012. If you would like to get in touch about events for Year 9 students or to book a 'Visit Us' event then please contact Ana Baker on anamarie.baker@kingston.ac.uk.
The Your Future conference is an aspiration-raising day, during which Year 9 pupils will have the chance to meet Student Ambassadors and consider their future options.
They will take part in various workshops throughout the day which will give pupils the opportunity to:
- explore where some of their individual talents lie;
- experience firsthand what it is like to be a university student; and
- look at how they are going to prepare for their future.
Pupils can attend one of two conferences held in January at our Penrhyn Road campus.
An optional in-school follow-up session is also available. Led by Student Ambassadors, this will give pupils the chance to discuss and work through their future plans.
Please note you will need to make your own way to the University and bring along your own packed lunch. Arrival refreshments will be provided by the University.
The conference will be taking place at our Penrhyn Road campus. Arrival and Registration will be at 10.00am and the day will finish at 2.30pm.
Your Future conference includes:
- welcome refreshments;
- workshop-style sessions; and
- a campus tour.
