Fast Forward
Fast Forward is an induction event exclusively for students who are part of the Compact Scheme at Kingston University.
The event is designed to help Compact Scheme applicants prepare for life as an undergraduate student through a series of talks, workshops and interactive sessions.
It is also a good opportunity to meet other new starters and make some friends before you enrol. Some of the undergraduate students helping on the day came to this event last year and are keen to share their first-year experiences with you.
Topics covered at Fast Forward include student funding, time management, study skills and employability. There will be top tips from current students and staff about getting the most out of your studies and student life. The atmosphere is informal with an emphasis on having fun as well as getting valuable advice and guidance to see you through the first few weeks at uni.
Attendance at Fast Forward is completely free – refreshments, lunch and all materials are provided by us.
We will get in contact with you once bookings have gone live and encourage you to book early as numbers are strictly limited.
Fast Forward usually takes place the week before Freshers Week.

"The Fast Forward induction gave me confidence, top tips for student life from current students and advice on how I can manage my finances. It was a great experience and I am very glad that I attended the programme."
