The Institute of Knowledge Transfer has produced a video explaining knowledge transfer and exploring the vital role that universities play in research and development, the 'lifeblood of innovation' according to Institute president Brian Fender.
The video formed part of the 'Fit For Tomorrow' DVD created for the CBI's Business Voice magazine in 2009. Now available on YouTube, the film explains some of the key concepts of knowledge transfer and looks at the ways that universities can be involved in helping businesses face challenges such as unemployment and climate change.
