Sally has more than 15 years of commercial and public sector leadership experience. She previously was an executive director of the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, and spent 10 years as a senior business leader at Serco. She has also worked for PA Consulting Group advising HM Treasury on the commercialisation of scientific assets but began her career as an international political economist, and was a researcher at the University of Newcastle (Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies) and a Marie Curie postdoctoral fellow at the Michael Smurfitt Graduate School of Business where she lectured and researched science, technology and regional economic development.
Amir graduated in biological sciences and started his career in research, firstly in oncology at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London and then in gene sequencing at Brunel University. He then moved into the blue-chip publishing industry as a senior consultant and then regional sales manager before joining Kingston University.
Roger has an honours degree in Industrial Design (Engineering), a Diploma in Marketing Studies, an MBA, and is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner. He is currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration. Roger spent several years as a Design Manager before joining Cardiff Metropolitan University supporting the Product Design curriculum and leading student entrepreneurship activities. In 2011 Roger became Director of Entrepreneurship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar. As Head of Incubation for QBIC Tourism, Roger supported entrepreneurs to develop products and services to enhance the Qatar tourism experience.
Keren has over 10 years' experience in Higher Education working with academic and industry partners on successful collaborations She graduated in Arts Management and has worked in a range of arts, charity and private sector roles, including six years with the Anna Freud Centre coordinating their post-graduate programmes at UCL.
Sahar has worked in the field of Business and Product Development within various industries for the last 17 years. While studying for her MA in applied physics, she worked in the largest private language academy in Iran managing course development and delivery. After completing her MBA at Leeds University, she went on to work as a Business Development Director at an academy. She has also worked as a consultant in Business Improvement and Development across different industries including agriculture, freight and transport, and a number of small businesses within the social science disciplines. Before joining Kingston University, Sahar was in a similar role at University of Westminster, mainly working with the faculty of Architecture & Built Environment.
Paul graduated in mechanical engineering and worked in engineering design and product development, production engineering and project management for 10 years across a range of industries. After studying computer science, he moved into software sales and support for computer aid design and manufacturing systems. These experiences lead to 20 years of lecturing in engineering and management in a range of institutions including FE colleges, Flinders University in Australia, and the Abu Dhabi Men's college. He also ran his own consulting company providing advice to insurance companies regarding equipment failure and repair. Prior to joining Kingston he was Director of Engineering and Employer Engagement at the University Technical College Norfolk.
Catherine graduated in modern languages from Warwick University and taught English abroad for several years before joining the editorial department of a large business publisher. After working in the development of business-to-business large scale projects, she moved into digital and web product development and managed a team of product developers. Her last role before joining the University was in course development within digital publishing. She is now involved in developing CPD and professional training across all areas of the University.
Kathryn has worked in business development, account management and recruitment roles across a variety of industry sectors. She was business development manager for the Faculty of Business and Law for six years, before moving to her current role as Head of Summer Schools.
