Why do this course?

A day to focus on the crucial aspect of narrative standpoint, which can make or break your story. We'll consider who's telling the story and from what point in time. By the end of the workshop, you'll have understood omniscient, limited and unreliable narration and how to keep a consistent point of view.

Course tutor

Priscilla Morris

Priscilla Morris has an MA with Distinction and a PhD in Creative Writing from the renowned School of Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia (UEA). She has taught creative writing and 20th-century literature at UEA for the past three years. Before that she taught English as a foreign language in England, Spain and Brazil. She read Italian, Spanish and social anthropology at Cambridge University.

Priscilla is an emerging writer in residence at Kingston University and is currently finishing her first novel, which is about love, war, art and loss. It is set during the 1990s siege of Sarajevo.
