This short course is aimed at teachers and SENCOs working in mainstream, special schools and colleges as well as those working in specialist settings for children and young people from early years to 25 years of age.
A survey of teachers in 2013 found that 60 per cent believe they haven't had the training they need to teach pupils on the autism spectrum (NASUWT Support for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs, June 2013).
