This session is relevant to anyone working with children between the ages of 3 – 11. This half-day workshop is intended to be an introduction to the Forest School ethos, with discussion about some of the underpinning theories included. You will have the opportunity to take part in some practical Forest School experiences and to look at some of the risks and benefits associated with outdoor learning.
Session will take place outside and will be hands-on and practical. The sessions will take place in small groups or you will work individually.
For practitioners working with children from 3 – 11 years.
Bring enthusiasm, a camera, notebook and pen. Wear suitable clothing and wellies for activities in the woods and for the weather conditions.
