This course is designed for anyone working with young children from birth to seven years of age who wishes to understand how young children develop emotionally, and how adults can support them.
You will gain an understanding of different types of emotions and how they may differ according to cultural or parental expectations, along with ‘ages and stages' of development. You will also explore ways in which we can support young children to understand their feelings, and manage their responses.
