Dr Hannah Ballou

About

I hold a PhD in feminist comedy from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.  My live art practice integrates neo-burlesque and stand up comedy, . Teaching and research interests include comedy, live art, physical theatre, writing for performance, commedia dell'arte, feminist performance, conceptual art, and philosophical models of the comic body.  I trained at the Dell'Arte School in California.  I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
