Dr Hasan Haroglu

Senior Lecturer


I am the Course Director of Undergraduate Construction Management Programme in the School of Natural and Built Environments at Kingston University. Prior to joining Kingston University in 2012, I worked at the ICRC, University of Reading, as a Research Fellow, working on the research project ‘BREEAM-in-Use'.

I earned an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) degree at Loughborough University, UK. During my EngD, I was based in The Concrete Centre, UK where I investigated the structural frame decision-making process as well as modern procurement methods. I also hold a MSc degree in Construction Management from Loughborough University. I am a member of CIOB and a Senior Fellow of The Higher Education Academy. My current and future research interests include quality management, building environmental assessment methods/tools, sustainable construction, renewable technologies, design management, and procurement and contract strategies.
