Dr Tina Papadopoulou

About

Dr. Tina Papadopoulou is the Head of Department of Construction and Surveying in the School of Natural and Built Environments. She is an Associate Professor leading the School's taught provision in the fields of Building Surveying, Construction Management and Quantity Surveying. Her responsibilities include managing the development of the curriculum and delivery of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses within these fields. She leads several project management related modules including procurement, contract administration and consultancy and further contributes to the teaching of research based modules. Dr. Tina Papadopoulou is also responsible for managing the academic staff within the Department of Construction and Surveying.She was awarded a PhD in engineering management by Brunel University and holds a Dipl.-Ing. in mechanical engineering from Aristotle University. She has several years' construction management experience in the education sector and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Association for Project Management (APM), Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) as well as the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). She undertook research in engineering and construction management and has a good track record of publications in reputable international refereed journals and international conferences. She holds editorial board and referee positions in four international journals.
