Mr Lindsay Frost

Visiting Lecturer


I am a visiting lecturer on the BSc and MSc courses in Real Estate Management, where I lecture on LP5110 (Planning & Development Practice ) and LP7301(Planning & Sustainable Development)

i am a Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI) with nearly 40 years professional experience, mostly in local government in Kent, North Yorkshire and East Sussex, but latterly as an independent planning consultant. My course lectures and assignments cover all aspects of town and country planning, including law, procedure and practice. The emphasis is on gaining practical knowledge which will help students understand and use the planning system to meet their clients' objectives.

Over my career, I have had research interests in how development manages the risk associated with unstable ground, flooding, coastal erosion and climate change, with one book and several other research publications.
