Mr Paul Jenkins

Senior Lecturer Photography

About

I began my journey as a visualiser, using a pencil and pen as a Cartographic Draughtsman at AtoZ Maps, before discovering Photography and Art School.

I have worked as a freelance Commercial/Studio Photographer throughout my career, joining the British Museum and Library working within the Studio environment and as Press Photographer. During this time, I was invited to teach Photography at a number of academic institutions on a short-term basis.

Soon, Theatre Photography was added to my portfolio and I founded The London School of Photography and Fulham Film Studios Hire (Commercials, Music Videos, Post Production and Set Design) as a director of both companies.

Alongside my business commitments, I was developing my skills as a photography problem-solver and adviser, undertaking personal photography projects, and finally coming to Kingston School of Art, Design and Architecture as a full-time member of staff within the Design Community shortly afterwards.
