About

Lucy Parker lives and works in London.  Through her filmmaking she considers ways in which communities form and act together. She is interested in ways that social networks, particularly educational, give agency to social movements as well as the political lives of individuals.  Most recent research is into the practise of political and corporate blacklisting in the UK.

Lucy's work is distributed by LUX, London.  She was the 2016 filmmaker in residence at the Berwick Film and Media Arts Festival, UK.  Her films have been screened and exhibited at locations including Marabouparken, Sweden; Rhubaba Gallery, Edinburgh; Rotterdam Film Festival; Toronto International Film Festival;  Jerwood Space, London; ICA, London and Holyrood Parliament, Edinburgh.
