Student Engagement and Enhancement (SEE) runs a variety of projects throughout the year, aimed at giving students opportunities to develop and get involved with activities outside their course - these may complement their chosen area of study or enable the enhancement of particular skills. The team work directly with students to create events and programmes that will contribute to personal and professional development, both now and in life beyond Kingston University.
Our projects split into four areas of work listed below. For full details of all the projects, have a look at the SEE What's On Guide (PDF).
Student Engagement and Enhancement (SEE) encompasses three teams that are designed to support students throughout university life:
Our projects split into the following four areas of work:
These activities support students throughout their time at university by removing any barriers to learning and helping to put their course into the wider context of careers and skills.
Being part of a community is about being part of something bigger than just you, it's about shared connections and feeling part of something you can belong to. The projects that fit within this strand provide a safe space to interact and collaborate to improve the experience of both individuals and the wider community wherever that may be.
Students can build skills for the future from their first day at Kingston all the way through to when they leave and beyond. The focus is on developing students both as people and professionals, ready for the world beyond Kingston.
Part of being at university is to be inspired, get recognised and to go on to inspire others. We've got some great schemes in place to really recognise the amazing things students are doing and celebrate their achievements.
