Password and Security Configuration

These instructions will enable you to access your online services for the University

Please read and following 4 points carefully.


  1. Login to the Identity Manager login (scroll down) using the username and password you have been sent by letter/email. This is a temporary password which will only last for a short time. Logging in here and changing it will create your permanent password for accessing Kingston University online services.

    • NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT COPY AND PASTE YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD FROM YOUR EMAIL, Please type them in yourself.

  2. Once you have logged in, you will be asked to enter a memorable word and PIN (if not previously set). By entering a 4 digit number and a memorable word you are setting up security information which you will be able to use should you need to change your password or if you forget your password.

  3. Once you have changed your password and set your memorable word and PIN, please scroll down to point 4.
