It is university policy that staff and students wishing to connect to their email from an external platform should use OWA (click here). However it is also currently possible to connect to the KU email service via: POP3 (server = mail.kingston.ac.uk. SSL must be enabled [port 995]) IMAP (server = mail.kingston.ac.uk. SSL must be enabled [port 993]) ActiveSync (server = kucahtkh.kingston.ac.uk) Please note it is not possible to send emails via POP or IMAP. SMTP is NOT available for security reasons. In all cases, use your normal University username and password. Please use the domain name 'KUDS' if required. Please note that although these services are available they are not directly supported by Information Services Support staff.
