The Fairtrade Steering Group
Kingston University has been a Fairtrade University since 2006. The Fairtrade Steering Group ensures we keep our Fairtrade accreditation year on year and our Fairtrade Policy up to date. They work to promote Fairtrade through campaigns and events and widen the range of Fairtrade products available across campus.

The Steering Group for Sustainability (SGS)
The Steering Group for Sustainability (SGS) is a cross-University group, which helps implement sustainability initiatives within the institution. The Group is representative of the University's diversity and includes all six University Faculties, as well as key University service areas; University Senior Management together with Kingston Student Union (KUSU). The areas covered include those with responsibility for teaching and research, estates management, finance, purchasing, cleaning, security, transport, and waste management.
