Aircraft Engineering Foundation Course: Entry requirements

Entry requirements for 2017

  • 64 A-level points – from three A-levels (General Studies and native language A-levels are not accepted); or
  • 64 points from a BTEC Extended Diploma in an engineering subject;
  • Plus: five GCSEs A*–C: (or comparable numeric score under the newly reformed GCSE gradings) to include English Language and Mathematics.

Please note: this course is specifically designed to prepare you for higher education study. On successful completion, you can progress to the Aircraft Engineering BSc(Hons) course in the School of Aerospace and Aircraft Engineering. This course is not aligned with any EASA Part-66 licence syllabuses.
