What this course offers you

This course covers an exciting mix of subjects including the history of:
- painting;
- sculpture;
- design;
- architecture;
- film; and
- photography.
You develop visual analysis skills and historical understanding by exploring a range of images, texts and objects.
You look at a mix of media and perspectives from the Renaissance to the present day.
You develop transferable employment skills, including:
- good research;
- communication; and
- presentation abilities.
There are regular visits to:
- museums;
- public and private galleries;
- auction houses; and
- various sites in London.
You can also go on study visits overseas to cities such as New York, Venice, Florence and Vienna.
A choice of modules at Levels 2 and 3 enable you to tailor your degree to your interests and career goals.

There is a lively programme of guest lecturers.
