Art and Design (Foundation) Diploma: Applying for funding
Find out how to apply for financial support
As the course is not eligible to receive statutory funding, students who are aged 19 or over when they start the course may be able to apply for a Professional and Career Development Loan.
This is a Government-backed scheme where the Learning and Skills Council pays the interest whilst you are studying. However, it is a commercial bank loan and is subject to standard credit checking and credit scoring processes. The maximum loan available for the duration of the course is £10,000. For more information about the Professional and Career Development Loan, visit the Directgov website.
