What this course offers you
- This course gives you the chance to study the theory and practice of art and design in an integrated way.
- It is based at Kingston College's School of Art and Design, an exciting and vibrant art and design community. Kingston College has close links with both the local community and practitioners in the creative industries.
- The College has excellent academic facilities as well as a sports complex, theatre and music studios, and learning resource centre. Its Penny School Gallery provides opportunities for curatorial experience.
- The School of Art and Design has a range of specialist 2D and 3D workshops and studios, ICT suites, photographic darkroom and learning resource centre dedicated to art and design.
- Kingston College is situated in the centre of Kingston upon Thames, close to all amenities and with excellent transport links.
- Kingston is within easy reach of the centre of London with its wealth of museums, art galleries and creative industries. These resources are used fully within the course.
- On successful completion of the foundation degree you will have the opportunity to transfer onto the Art and Design BA(Hons) top-up course at Kingston University (subject to validation).
- We are developing links with similar courses in European HE institutions.
