Art Market BA(Hons): After you graduate

This course is designed for students who want to pursue a career in the art market, whether working in auctioneering, art dealing or consultancy. The knowledge of art works and business practice you will gain will be useful in many other areas of the art world as well.

As the Art Market BA(Hons) is a new course, we don't have any examples of graduate destinations yet but you may choose to work in:

• an auction house;
• a museum, art gallery or other permanent/semi-permanent exhibition;
• the field of curation;
• consultancy – whether for public and private sector clients;
• art trading;
• the heritage sector;
• the loss adjustment and insurance industry;
• an organisation undertaking probate and taxation work; or
• a research or academic environment.
