Biomedical Science BSc(Hons): Recognition and accreditation

The Biomedical Science BSc(Hons) course at Kingston is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science – the professional body for biomedical scientists in the UK, which promotes and develops biomedical science and its practitioners.

This means that the course meets the academic standards you need to become a medical laboratory scientific officer or a state registered biomedical scientist.  If you want to build a career in either of these roles within the British health system, it is important to study an accredited course.
