About this course

Why choose this course?

This Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course aims to develop competent managers who are capable of working in a contemporary international context. It provides a broad but comprehensive business and management programme with an international focus.

If you choose the four-year route (you can switch routes before you start your third year if you change your mind), you will use the final year to apply your knowledge and skills to a real business organisation during a year-long placement.

Students who have completed two years of a similar course overseas can transfer to the final year/s of this degree.

What will you study?

You will study a broad range of business subjects, including:

  • finance;
  • marketing;
  • human resource management;
  • operations management; and
  • trends in the international business environment.

You can choose to study a foreign language and will be able to tailor your studies through your option modules. If you take the four-year route, you will have the opportunity to undertake a work placement and write a formal management report about a specific business problem/issue that your placement employer encounters.

All our business courses have a shared first year so you can easily transfer to the second year of a different course if your interests change.
