Read about his experiences:
"It all started when I first watched Pixars's Toy Story while I was young, I realised that I wanted to work where I could create incredibly impossible imagery. Having grown up in Brazil I realised that I wanted to study abroad where I could gain the skills to do this, so I found this course at Kingston University.
I really enjoyed studying Maya modelling, texturing, lighting and animation. I found I also liked compositing 3D with live action, and was able to appreciate the complexities of digital imagery through lectures and workshops and experiment with friends that I made on my course.
We all know that Pixars's Toy Story is a full computer-animated film, but I ended up being a nuke compositor – a 2.5D artist. A great mixture of 2D and 3D. At Kingston University I learnt everything about these two worlds and today I can confidently work with them in any visual effects situation."
