Why choose this course?

If you are interested in becoming a construction manager, ensuring that projects are completed on time, to budget and at the specified quality, this is the ideal course. It combines an emphasis on management with a thorough grounding in the technical aspects of construction.

What will you study?

You will study basic maths and science for construction, building and construction practice, engineering drawing, materials, simple structures, computing and professional practice. You will also look at design, geotechnics and foundations, surveying, bills of quantity and finance, legal studies and contracts and project management. Field trips enable you to gain practical experience in surveying and geotechnics.
