Jason Piper

Jason has worked in dance, theatre and film for over 15 years. He has choreographed and performed internationally with a variety of companies including: Matthew Bourne, Richard Alston, Rafael Bonchela, The Royal Academy of Dance, Christina Aguilera and Kylie Minogue.


Stephen Mason

Stephen has worked in the dance and education sectors for over 15 years as a freelance dance artist, choreographer, project manager and teacher. He has worked for Trinity Laban, The Place, Dance Umbrella and Richard Alston Dance Company.


Caroline Lofthouse

Caroline was an independent dance artist. She has performed extensively with Loop Dance Company and has worked with many leading contemporary dance choreographers such as Jonzi D, Yael Flexer and Filip Van Huffel.


Dr Daniela Perazzo Domm

Daniela's research interests revolve around the analysis and interpretation of contemporary experimental dance and include critical theory, dance analysis and the interrelation between theory and practice.


Jon Chu

Jon started off in music and accidentally happened upon dance. His background in martial arts suddenly became very handy. In 2008, Jon won the Bronze medal for his Taiji 42 and the Gold Medal for his Taiji 42 Sword forms at the London Wushu Open in London.


Elena Catalano

Elena completed her PhD in Ethnochoreology at Durham University. Her research includes embodied experience, transcultural training, practitioners' international mobility and its relation to processes of identifications and artistic production. Elena is an active performer and dance teacher.


Professor Colin Chambers

Professor Chambers has worked as a journalist and theatre critic for many years and was literary manager of the RSC for more than a decade. He has published widely on contemporary theatre and is currently completing The Routledge Companion to Black and Asian Theatre.


Dr David Linton

David has worked as a professional actor/practitioner for over twenty-five years with numerous commercial theatres, arts organisations and television companies including the Royal Opera House, Barbican, Northampton Playhouse, BBC, Granada, Tiger Aspect and London Weekend Television.


Dr Alex McSweeney


Professor Trish Reid

Trish teaches theatre history and performance in culture. She has worked for a number of years as a musician and actor before entering higher education as a mature student. Trish is particularly interested in how identities, especially national and gender identities, are constituted through performance.


Dr Jim Reynolds

Jim is a senior lecturer in drama. He has also worked as a drama teacher, as an actor and acting coach, and has led a range of text, devised, applied and youth theatre projects - mounting work on London stages such as the Tricycle Theatre, Hammersmith Lyric, The Cockpit, Kingston's Rose - and directed the UK stage premiere of Howard Barker's 'Knowledge and a Girl' at the Edinburgh Festival (2015).
