We are seeking people who wish to enthuse and motivate young children as well as developing further their own knowledge, skills and understanding in young children's care and education.

English language requirements

Whilst international students are welcome to apply, please note that although this course is full-time (work-based), it does not meet the criteria for UKVI Tier 4 student visas. Prospective students should ensure that they have the necessary visa/permit in place before submitting an application. If you are unsure of the current immigration rules, please contact our International Student Advisory Centre at isac@kingston.ac.uk.

All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with special conditions in all elements. Please make sure you read our full guidance about English language requirements, which includes details of other qualifications we'll consider.

Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements may be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course.

Applicants from one of the recognised majority English speaking countries (MESCs) do not need to meet these requirements.
