A student's view of our links with industry:
"I chose to study aerospace engineering mainly because I have always had an interest in aircraft. I grew up next to an RAF base in Cornwall so I have always had experience of aircraft.
"The year that I completed my UCAS application form, Kingston University was voted one of the best universities in the country for engineering in general. I also had friends who had come here in previous years who said that the course was very good.
"The placement year gave me an insight into industry and made me want to become an engineer even more. The University has such excellent connections that many students get very good placements. My time management skills have improved by working in a real life environment. I feel it has made me a much better student."
