English and History BA(Hons): Events and lectures

Extra activities for this course

You can take part in a wide range of activities on campus. Each week you'll find something going on, from a Cultural Histories lecture, a Writers' Centre Kingston reading, a Centre for Modern and European Philosophy debate, or a student theatre production.

Most modules include extra-curricular activities like field trips to London and beyond. In the History Worklink module, you can get good experience in archives, heritage or associated fields of activity.  It encourages you to consider the nature of history and literature, and their wider-ranging importance outside your studies.
