Why choose this course?
Advances in technology have enabled the analysis of biological samples to provide essential information and evidence in many investigations of crime and accidents. If you are interested in learning about the investigation and detection of biological materials associated with criminal inquiries, this course is ideal.
What will you study?
You will study human anatomy and physiology, and forensic detection and analysis. You will develop knowledge in areas such as genetics, pathology, the collection and processing of evidence, and analytical chemistry. You will also study pharmacology, toxicology and forensic archaeology, and will carry out a research project related to these areas in your final year.
