Forensic Science BSc(Hons)

Why choose this course?

If you are interested in the collection and interpretation of scientific data, a degree in forensic science is ideal. This course combines topics across several disciplines to give an integrated approach to a new, exciting area of science, and enables you to study forensic science alongside criminology or psychology.

You can choose to study our Forensic Science BSc(Hons) as a joint honours subject, or as the single honours degree in Forensic Science and Investigative Analysis.

What will you study?

You will study the key elements of modern forensic science, including the biological and chemical aspects of the discipline and their application to crime-scene analysis. You will also cover topics such as human physiology and laboratory techniques. In your final year you can tailor your studies through your choice of option modules.
