Geology BSc(Hons): Links with other organisations

Staff are involved in active research and collaborate with industry and government agencies around the world. This means that teaching is illustrated with up-to-date, relevant experience.

We also enjoy excellent links with the Natural History Museum, with its staff contributing lectures to some modules. Other benefits include access to the museum's national archive collections of geological specimens.

An active Geology Club, organised by students, arranges talks by industrial geologists and runs a programme of additional field trips and social events.
