Information Systems BSc(Hons): What our students say
Student profiles
Don't just take our word for it – here's what some of our current and recent students say about what it's like to study at Kingston.

Name: Joe Arday
Course: Computer Information Systems Design BSc (now Information Systems BSc)
Level: Final year (of a four year sandwich degree, including a placement year at Sun Microsystems)
"From the first day I walked through the doors of Kingston University, I have enjoyed the whole experience of both studying and being involved with the student community. On a personal level I feel privileged to have worked with people from lots of different backgrounds – people I hold in high regard and who will remain friends.
"For my final year project I developed a sports club content management system. I thoroughly enjoyed working on a project of my own choice, which was based on the experience I had gained throughout the course. I found managing the project from start to finish particularly satisfying.
"However, my favourite part was having the opportunity to show my work to fellow students, members of staff and people from local businesses at the project exhibition*. The experience I gained from my project will greatly help my plans to secure a graduate position as an IT consultant or junior project manager."
*The annual project poster exhibition gives final year students the chance to show their work to industry representatives.
