IT for E-Business FdSc: Attendance and timetables

When does teaching take place?

The foundation degree in IT for e-business is designed to run over two years. Each participating college offers a slightly different pattern of delivery with options including:

  • two evenings per week;
  • a full day per week; or
  • an afternoon and an evening per week.

Typically the course may include study at work (six hours each week), in college (nine hours) and private study (ten hours). If you are unable to meet these requirements, you can study over a longer period. You'll have access to online learning resources throughout the course.

If you are not currently employed or do not work in IT, the work-based elements of the course can be covered by case studies or, where possible, work placements.
