What this course offers you
- The Law BA(Hons) course is ideal if you are interested in studying law but don't plan to become a solicitor or barrister when you graduate.
- Your first year provides an opportunity to develop your general academic skills. This makes the course especially suitable if you have underperformed in your school leaving qualifications so do not qualify for a first-year place on the LLB course.
- A wide range of optional modules allow you to tailor your degree to areas of particular interest, such as immigration law, company law, commercial law, medical law, criminal justice, mediation or employment law.
- You can gain real on-the-job experience with the Law School Legal Advice Clinic (find out more in the Events and lectures section).
- You can choose to undertake a year-long work placement if you wish, providing practical workplace experience and enhancing your employability.
