Law Senior Status LLB(Hons): Applying for funding

Find out how to apply for financial support

One of the entry requirements for this course is that you already hold an honours degree. Students on this course are therefore not eligible for tuition fee loans, maintenance loans or maintenance grants and have to fund the course by other means.

As the course is not eligible to receive statutory funding, you may be able to apply for a Professional and Career Development Loan. This is a Government-backed scheme where the Learning and Skills Council pays the interest whilst you are studying. However, it is a commercial bank loan and is subject to standard credit checking and credit scoring processes. The maximum loan available for the duration of the course is £10,000. For more information about the Professional and Career Development Loan, visit the Directgov website.
