Why choose this course?

This course enables you to study Mathematics in combination with Business, IT or another science subject. Mathematics at Kingston focuses on the applicable aspects of maths, giving you the opportunity to explore how numerical techniques are used in business, government and science.

What will you study?

Early stages of the course cover calculus, algebra and statistics along with essential numerical and programming techniques. Depending on whether you study maths as a major, half or minor field, you can then dig deeper into applied mathematical concepts such as mathematical and statistical modelling and operational research. You can also study computing topics such as Java programming, Visual Basic and databases.
