Media Technology BSc(Hons): Links with business and industry

A diverse team of professionals with a wealth of experience teach this course. This means that:

Through their consultancy work and past employment, lecturers have contacts in some of the UK's most prestigious broadcast and multimedia organisations. These include:

• the BBC;
• Aardman Animation - the Oscar-winning makers of Wallace and Gromit;
• international e-learning company Future Media; and
• local TV and film production studios Teddington, part of the Pinewood Shepperton Studios Group.

Work-based learning

You develop your skills by undertaking a number of projects based on workplace scenarios.  These help you:

• learn how to apply your academic studies to real life situations;
• prepare for the job market; and
• decide which career direction interests you most.
