Media Technology BSc(Hons): Links with business and industry
How we work with industry partners
A diverse team of professionals with a wealth of experience teach this course. This means that:
- teaching is illustrated by personal experience;
- you have access to practical advice from someone with insider knowledge; and
- the calibre of our teaching is known to a wide pool of employers.
Through their consultancy work and past employment, lecturers have contacts in some of the UK's most prestigious broadcast and multimedia organisations. These include:
- the BBC;
- Aardman Animation - the Oscar-winning makers of Wallace and Gromit;
- international e-learning company Future Media; and
- local TV and film production studios Teddington, part of the Pinewood Shepperton Studios Group.
Work-based learning
You develop your skills by undertaking a number of projects based on workplace scenarios. These help you:
- learn how to apply your academic studies to real life situations;
- prepare for the job market; and
- decide which career direction interests you most.
Placement programme
