Why choose this course?

This work-based course is ideal if you are employed in a medical technologist role and wish to gain a relevant qualification that will maximise your employability. You can choose to follow one of three pathways – medical equipment technology, medical device decontamination or medical gas technology (see the Pathway options section for more details).

The course is run by Eastwood Park training centre in partnership with the University.

What will you study?

As a work-based learning programme, the curriculum has a very practical focus, backed up with relevant study materials. The course aims to give you the confidence to progress in your career by enabling you to develop a mix of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills.
