Name: Jonathan Andre
Course: BMus Music
"I've been interested in music my whole life and I knew it was what I wanted to study. I visited Kingston on an open day and it seemed a nice place to be. The surroundings were great and I liked what the course offered. The courses explore lots of different aspects of music and you get to know areas such as technology and composing.
"The lecturers were friendly and approachable. The teaching was of a very good standard and I never struggled to understand or was afraid to ask questions. Even if it's out of teaching hours, you could knock on lecturers' doors and they were happy to help you.
"My interest has always been in performance so that was the aspect of the course that interested me most. It was broken down to its rawest form so you could fully understand it. The highlight of the course was when a group of us sang at the Royal Albert Hall. That was really fun.
"I really enjoyed my time at Kingston. I learnt so much about the whole subject of music and things about myself as well."
