More about our modern teaching environment

Here is the range of facilities available to you as a student at Kingston and St George's, University of London that will help you during your course.

This course is taught at Kingston University's or St George's, University of London where you will have access to a modern environment and the latest equipment, including:

  • laboratories;
  • clinical teaching facilities – including 'skills laboratories' where you will be able to perfect your practical skills in modern laboratories equipped with all the facilities of a clinical setting. Take a 360° tour of a skills laboratory at our Kingston Hill campus.
  • real practice placements – we offer excellent practice placements in a variety of leading hospital and community settings. You'll gain hands-on experience of working with real patients, with full supervision and mentoring throughout; and 
  • computing facilities – including a range of software applications, plus free email and internet access.

Learning Resources Centre (LRC)

The high-tech LRC houses a wide range of resources and services, including texts, periodicals, journals and dissertations, audio-visual materials and over 500 study places. Remote access to LRC databases means you can access facilities on-line from anywhere in the world.

We further improved the learning resources centre in 2008 with a £5 million extension. The Nightingale Centre includes a learning cafe, more PCs and extra study areas.
