The tuition fee you pay depends on whether you are assessed as a 'Home' (UK or EU), 'Islands' or 'International' student. In 2017/18 the fees for this course are:
|Home (UK and EU students)||£9,250*|
|Overseas||Year 1 (2017/18): £14,500
Year 2 (2018/19): £14,900
Year 3 (2019/20): £15,300
|Islands (Channel Islands and Isle of Man)||To be confirmed by the Island Authorities|
* These fees are annual and may increase in line with inflation each year subject to the results of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
Eligible UK and EU students can apply to the Government for a tuition loan, which is paid direct to the University. This has a low interest rate which is charged from the time the first part of the loan is paid to the University until you have repaid it.
Our fees and funding section provides information and advice on money matters.
Students are supplied with materials that are adequate to fulfil the requirements of each module, so no further costs are required to successfully complete the work required for assessment.
If you elect to use materials that are not supplied as standard via your workshop or course, you will bear these costs. Spending extra money in this way will not have any effect on your marks.
Field trips are paid for by students, but these are optional. Occasional trips to London will be required, the cost of which will be borne by students. Fees do not include travel to and from the University. If you need to resit a module you may be subject to extra costs.
