What our graduates say
Check out what our graduates have gone on to do and how studying at Kingston helped them achieve their goals.

Name: Angela Budd
Year of graduation: 2001
Current job: Parliamentary researcher to local MP Edward Davey
"I loved my time at Kingston. The content of the course was brilliant and the department open to ideas on how to make sure the students got the very best from the course. The modular system enabled me to adapt the course to suit my own particular interests, and the choice of courses available [were] diverse and thought-provoking.
"My time at Kingston was invaluable, and I remain on good terms with many of the staff. I am still involved on a professional level, as the University is a major part of my boss's constituency, and I enjoy keeping up to date on how the department has developed and grown since I left."

Name: Richard Eyre
Year of graduation: 2006
Current employer: Croydon Council Services (Asylum Seekers Team)
"I went to university having worked in various uninspiring jobs with the hope that it would spark an interest that might point me towards a career. For me, to study politics is to study life! From the subjects offered, I was able to gain an insight into the mechanics of the modern world and learn about the fragility of human existence and interactions.
"Having discovered the personal benefits of helping people, I am now pursuing a career with the Social Services, which is thoroughly inspiring. It's satisfying to know that I am helping to improve people's lives.
"I would like to say thank you to Kingston University for all their help and support. Much of my final grade was due to the high standards of teaching and support offered by the Politics department, especially the field leader, Terry Sullivan."
