Politics BA(Hons): Events and lectures
Extra activities for this course
There are always interesting activities taking place at Kingston and exciting opportunities to take advantage of. Here are some examples of what you could be involved with if you study this course.
To find out more about the negotiations of the US Constitution in Philadelphia in 1787, first year Politics students recently attended We the People at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre on London's South Bank. Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, George Washington and many of the other founding fathers came together at a moment of crisis to create the constitution that the United States still lives within today. The play re-created the drama of that historic moment from the surviving speeches, letters and official documents.
After the play, the group went to the National Film Theatre bar to discuss the play, look out over the river and socialise.
