What you need to apply for this course
Typical offer – English (XQD3)
- Points: 240, including 100 points in the subject specialism.
- Plus GCSE (A–C): five subjects, to include English Language, Mathematics and Science.
Typical offer – Geography (XF1V), Science (XC11), Maths (XG11)
- Points: 240, including 80 points in the subject specialism.
- Plus GCSE (A–C): five subjects, to include English Language, Mathematics, Science and Geography or History if this is the subject specialism applied for.
Experience of the primary school environment is also essential.
Please note that the CACHE Diploma is not accepted unless you have also obtained an A-level minimum grade B in English Language, or minimum grade C in Maths, Science, Geography or History.
International students
All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirements. For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall, with special conditions in all elements. Applicants who do not meet the English language requirements may be eligible to join our pre-sessional English language course.
Applicants from one of the recognised Majority English Speaking Countries (MESCs) do not need to meet these requirements.
